Personal Experience

Freya Katkowsky is an immigration lawyer for researchers, companies, and families. Before opening her law firm in 2012, she worked with international university students and faculty for many years, teaching and editing scholarly writing in science, engineering, and law. She has a Master of Arts in Linguistics and a Juris Doctor.

She has a special focus on academic immigration, particularly National Interest Waiver and EB-1A petitions for scientists and researchers, Special Handling labor certification applications for colleges and universities, and family-based permanent residence.
